In 2008 Rob Wildermuth donated a 29 acre parcel to West Chester Township to provide high quality habitat, flood control and open space for wildlife. RGW Development then constructed a weir system to allow occasional creek overflow and wetland flooding for the park. Over the next six (6) years, the township and several volunteers have planted native plant species to improve erosion and habitat.
